it's nice to be in between the sheets
and the daylight - and the moonlight
i'm not so sure about the time between
then and now, what is and what will be
or is that what was and what is
they say God never closes one door
without opening another...
some say 'but it's hell in the hallway'!
i don't really mind the hallway
except in times of uncertainty
ha - i lie to myself and say
the now is where it's best - on any given day
it's where I long to learn to stay!
